IHM Endowment Fund for Religious Education

You Can Help Build The Future!

Catholic education is the key to the future of our Church. Here at IHM, this includes Immaculate Heart of Mary School (Grades K-8), our Religious Education programs (Grades K-10), sacramental preparation, as well as educational and faith-building opportunties for adults. But it takes money to fund these programs and to ensure that they will still be there for future generations.

The Immaculate Heart of Mary Endowment Fund was established in 1992 as a way to provide for those future Religious Education needs. Contributions to the fund are invested in a balanced portfolio of stocks and bonds, and a portion of the earnings (interest and dividends) is made available to fund Religious Education needs. The Endowment Fund has provided money for numerous items, including the following:

Bibles and Prayer books for Confirmation candidates
Pamphlets for Liturgy of the Word for Children
Advent and Lent materials
Scholarships to help pay for tuition (for those who qualify)
Youth Mission Trips
Religion Workbooks and Curriculum
A projection system that can be used by all programs
Catechist resources
Retreats
Parent newsletters

The Endowment Fund is a wonderful way to leave your legacy here at Immaculate Heart of Mary for future generations. Parishioners are encouraged to consider including the Endowment Fund in their will, and family members are encouraged to establish memorials in memory of their loved ones. In addition, a gift to the Endowment Fund is a wonderful way to honor a special person or event.
